project lil truck

ok i know i am going to catch a lot of crap but oh well i never seen it done. that said i am taking my 90 2200 cab and putting it on my 86 k5 blazer frame. i was going to static drop it but the local finest pissed me off yesterday by writing me a fix it ticket for excessive smoke then he told me mazdas suck because they have no power among other things. he is a chevy guy so i am going to sacrifice both the low truck and my lifted truck to get even. the blazer has a 4 inch lift and gm crate truck 350. i am going to try to fit at least a 40 inch tire. i looked at it today it should be fairly easy to do. does any one know the distance between the mazda cab mounts center to center? i look forward to hearin your opinions good or bad

Thanks DZMINIZ. 902200 how do you plan on attaching the mazda body to the k5 chassis? the blazer is considerably wider.

Narrowing the frame seems like the only option. Plus fabbing all new body mounts and pretty much everything.
902200 You should just stick a small block in your mazda. I'm pretty sure ultimate customs makes a motor mount kit. just my .02.

ya ultimate customs did make the kits but Loyd has been gone for awhile now closed his doors back in 2004 or 2005 but I can make you a kit to drop a small block in your DAWG. as i did work and buy alot from him
