i have done a lot of thinking on how to do it. it will take 2x4 tube and 6 inch angle iron to build taller frame mounts connected between each otheracross the k5 frame to mount the mazda on. sorta like a body lift on steroids. by the way i did some measuring (crudely) and the mazda wheel base is about 6 inches longer so i need to shorten the bed a little. nice sketch wish i had the tallent. will post some pics as soon as i get the camera fixed. thanks for the positive replies.

oh and the frame on the k5 is a lot narrower than it looks it sits way inside the body where the mazda dosent and the k5 body mounts directly abovr thr frame where the mazda has mounts outside the frame it will take some work but its not as bad as it looks

ok i did a little more looking and the mounts on the k5 are not directly above the frame but just to the outside. been working a lot lately so i havent had time to do much. kinda hard to turn a wrench all day at work then do it at home too. but i will get to it as soon as the shop slows down just a little.
