new wheels are on, but with different tyres than i expected.
Currently sitting with 245/45/17, about 1.8% smaller overall than the 16's where, i was meant to be getting 235/45 with would have been around 4% smaller overall.
Begers cant be choosers at the price of the tyres thought.
At this stage it looks like the extra 10mm is causing problems, especially for the front 2wd guards. Would probably not be so bad if i wasn't running drop spindles.
I will take some picks and post them later. Will probably have to fit the 4x4 front i have and see how it rolls.

Finally got around to some more work on the truck, now its a multi coloured beast, i guess the sign of a real mini truck.
4x4 front guards fitted, turns out there in worse shape than expected and require some DIY rolling, but necessary to stop my tyres getting munched to all shit.
Straightened the radiator support a bit to fix the issues i was having with the passenger head light, still not perfect but better.
looks like its taken a ding to the front at some stage, nothing major but enough to warp the rad support
Also installed some of my central locking, only 8 months after buying the kit, the doors had to come off to get eh holes drilled in the right section, a pain but worth it in the long run.
still need to replace the bonnet and wiper section with the white panels i have.
will post a few pics when i get around to it.

ok picture time, 1st pic shows the issues i have with current rims sticking out to much. 2nd shows the rust, didnt notice this when i picked up the panels.

digging thought my treasures / junk collection i found my stinger gold battery terminals and installed them, finally connecting my amp at the same time.
Should have the central locking sorted tonight and will post some pics of the door jams etc where i ran the wires
