nice.. will have to look into them... see if anything catches my eye for the finished product... maybe a 5 lug conversion would be a good idea.

Im thinking of going retro 15" on whitewalls. what do you guys thing. or should I just go with my 18"-20" combo or 20's all around
charlesskelter   +1y
I wouldn't do the whitewalls unless you plan to change the entire truck to fit a retro theme.

Ya I was going to go all out. Sheet metal dash retro gauges etc, Matte black paint. Just an idea.

i would go retro. you already got the tweed..... and i am a fan of old school mini's

If you're going to go all out, hell yeah, but please don't flat black it, looks like shit.

Lil89ramd50 - tweed is an 80's-90's thing. Early minitrucks and retro themed trucks are a quite different. Retro theme goes for the 50's-70's hot rod or custom look. Tweed would look off, vinyl would be best suited for the theme.

I think the wheels you posted would go better with the current truck look. I think you would have to change a lot even the color to go with the retro wheels but that's just my opinion.

whatever you do dont do a combo wheel set. Go all one size. Combos look terrible in my opinion unless its an old hotrod

I agree. was going to do a basic aluminum/Vinyl interior with a bench.

I hate the tweed, It was the in thing in the late 90's. My friend who owned it before i grabbed it loves tweed.

Thinking now I may just run some 17's on it. I have a new project showing up soon that i can stuff some 20" + on.

Im getting bored and the shop is full of other projects so the mazda is just sitting looking sad I need to work on it or put wheel son it and drive it
