Not to threadjack, but considering this IS bumper talk, lol...
im up $h!t creek. I need a rear bumper for my truck to pass a safety inspection and I cant get a replacement from a B. Anybody know whats either a bolt on or near-bolt on? Its not permanent so it doesnt have to look good. It'll be on the truck for an hour for safety lol. Then off it comes and the dual exhaust pipes are coming outta the holes where the bumper goes.

I may be wrong (not sure of Canada's law), but you shouldn't need the back bumper. Mazda has a built in rollpan that is just as good as the back bumper. Like I said, I don't know your laws, but in Va. that is good enough.

Yeah I looked on the website and it was worded a little odd.
Apparently light trucks dont need a rear bumper,
yet any vehicle outfitted with one new DO. it kinda fits both clauses, so im not sure. Found a bumper for $50 at a scrapyard, they couldnt tell me if it was chrome or black but they THINK they have both. if its chrome im pumped lol

New question, can you take the lil chrome strip off of 4wd bumper and put on 2wd?

the 4x4 bumper and 2wd bumper is the same... its the ends that are different...so in turn i guess you would say no they are not the same as you can take the whole thing off the truck as one piece
