The 2.5 KL will not bolt up- not even close, and I wouldn't even dream to think of the amount of fabrication and wiring it would take to put that in one of these trucks- in the end it would be useless in my opinion. You would be far better of using the v6 from an mpv or a 929- at least that is RWD and would fit correctly.
As far as this 626 motor swap goes- I think it would be alot easier to swap the b2200 camshaft and front housing onto that engine and get the distributor in the front like it should be rather than moving the engine around!
i put a fi pump assembly in the tank and im running the cars harness for the motor and splicing it into my truks harness , and i also upgraded already to a walbro 255 pump so when i crank up the boost ( these little suckers will hold 30psi all stock hehehehehe ) i dont have to pull the bed and change the pump later
DO WHAT YOU WANT but i will laugh my arss off when it blows up man. and if it holds with what your doing to that truck then i will retract everything i said about you.
lol, i was told they will hold 30psi by someone i was gunna buy the motor from, then decided not to buy the motor cuz they were probably crankin the boost and killing it HAHA i would rather keep it around 8psi but thats just me lol
