5.0L mustang swap.

anyone done a 302 swap to a b2200? Wondering what all work goes into the swap. what parts hold up to the v8 and which dont? (rearend, U-joints, driveline, stock torsion bars, etc.etc.)

I think the front end would hold, maybe beef up some of the cross members. I would definitely replace everything from the drive train to the back including the axle, and drive shaft.

What year 302?

not sure what year. I've heard late 80's mustang 302's damn near bolt right up.

Have you ever seen Trucks the tv show? Recently they performed a swap but it was in a later B Series I think it was a 2500.

i think i saw that episode today... i believe it was a b2200 though.

i need to look that up me thinks. I've heard some guy did it, got about 500 horsepower out of it. runs 12's with the stock rearend. I need that in my life. Oh, also, anyone know if you can use 351 heads on a 302 block? they flow better and I wouldn't mind using those instead.

someone gave me his turbos off of his 3000gt. So I pretty much had every intention of slapping them on the 302.
