Motor Mounts for the 302 (Ford 5.0)

Yes I did. It didn't that I could tell...but then again you have to remember you're putting something there that didn't originally belong so you have to accommodate anyway. I never really worried about fixing that prob sorry lol

My best idea tho was to take a solid 1" x 1/2" steel bar and cut to size and put slight bends to go around the pan and avoid the road...but basically cut the mounting points off the factory bar and weld the solid piece back in and reinstall...im gonna try to dig up some pix from my build to help explain bc I know it may sound kinda vague

Yeah I figured I would do something like that. My only problem is my truck is bagged and laying crossmember. I don't want the crossmember holding me up any higher.
