whoa .. just thought about it.. you should only have one main wire going to the starter and then one small wire on the trigger for the selenoid.. there is a ground next to the starter that attaches to the engine mount .. also, that same ground has a bracket for a 8mm bolt to secure it to the frame on the factory negative cable. the factory ground cable is black with a yellow stripe

really confused now did what you said engine will not crank....but there is another eye lid cmin out of the harness that if i hook it to the fusebox it cranks....

Throw up a pic of what you're dealing with.. you have both wires that bolt to the main fuse connected in the fusebox? There are two identical wires that come off the main..one basically from the battery and charging system then the other powers the rest of the truck.. I'll take some pics of the harness out so you can see what I mean.... wiring is a pain sometimes

k well i got all that correct... appreciate it...got it started but i dont have the alt wire going in the box it goes to the battery.... not sure why this is but coming from stock wiring harness there is a wire that comes out that if not hooked in the box the truck has no power
