That's not fair Cusser... I was a mechanic for twenty years.
Eventually, I got tired of always having dirty fingernails and grease stained hands.
Money is nice, but not the only reason to keep a job. Sometimes you get tired of a certain thing.

Point taken, I change my stance, and apologize. During our downsizings of the last few years, I have mentioned to Mrs. Cusser that if I lost my job that I might try to work at auto parts store for a few years for medical benefits reasons.

ok guys now a did get a few tips 1 of them was to bleed the slave cylinder(he asked me did i bleed the master before and i told him yes). since i didnt know how to bleed to slave before i felt stupid when they told me to bleed it the same way i bleed the master but stomp on the clutch instead of the brake.. and i be damn the slave starting bleeding.. before it was just all air.. now when i try to bleed the master it dont spit out like it use to but the slave does.. i wont be able to take it for a spin until a week or two due to certain event that came up... but the gear box feels a whole lot better now since i bleed the slave.i had to add more dot 3 brake fluid because it almost went dry during the bleed process.

Hurrah!
Looks like some learning has been done
The slave has probably been slowly leaking for ages, keep an eye on it, if it does it again replace the slave.

You talked of the brakes above so.... that was confusing so now we have the below just in case.

The brake and clutch system are separate, they can use the same type of fluid though.
Master and slave refer to the 2 main parts of the hydraulic system.
The master moves -> the slave moves. that's the main thinking behind it.
You have a master clutch cylinder, and a master clutch cylinder.
You have many brake slave cylinders and one clutch slave cylinder.
The master brake cylinder is on the end of the brake booster (that big round thing with a vacuum hose going to it) and has brake lines coming out of it.
The master clutch cylinder is beside it and is much smaller but sort of looks the same but with just the one line coming from it.

The clutch slave cylinder is the only place you can bleed the clutch system, it has a nipple there for that reason.

I imagine you've done this, but the brake reference is very weird.
Try reading your posts before submitting them, they are lacking a little structure, feel free to paragraph and punctuate
It helps us to figure out what you're trying to describe/explain.

Congrats on having a go, if you bleed again, get a friend to help and perhaps get a bleeding kit as they are very handy.
Basically a clear pipe you can slip on over the bleed nipple and prevents air returning into your hydraulic system (when you open and shut it via a ring spanner with a friend actuating the pedal).

oh crap man i been hitting the brake master cylinder this whole time it wasnt until i hit the one right the other day... i thought it was the slave??? feels stupid.

lol, I thought you may have had them mixed up!

You know the difference now between the two?

If you bled the clutch and it improved I imagine you got under the truck and bled off the clutch slave which is on the bell housing?
If I were you I'd be tempted to bleed the whole lot out and refill with nice new fluid.
Get a friend to help you, get under the truck and have them pump the clutch for you.
Grab a bleed kit and you'll be a pro in no time

Aren't you happy we're just helpful people on mazdabscene

See that the slave has the bleed nipple.

soo today i went to take a wing at the master cylinder first. and looked under and seen that the nut was scraped really bad on there which means no way in hell it could be unscrewed.. and the nut was old.. so last measure and i mean LAST MEASURE i had to get a saw and cut the thing of.. took hours but its almost cut.. yes its dangerous and as the result nicked one of the lines for the truck i can seal it up or i can replace it. i did not know the bolts where inside and was super pissed.

You were taking the master cylinder off the firewall?
Did you give another go at bleeding the system?
Or did you do that and decide that there was problem with the master?
