Also. While running I removed each connector (yellow and white plastic ones) neither stalled the truck like it should..

If the mixture solenoid wires are cut, she's going to run rich for sure.......the fuel level needs to be at the 1/2 way point in the sight glass.

Ahh okay.. So that may be my problem..
Oh 1/2? Looks like someone on the Internet lied to me! Haha thanks a lot, will work on that tomorrow evening.

What is the solenoid on the right side of the carb? And is it crucial for performance?

Looked up pics of the mixture control solenoid. I may be asking a stupid question but where is it located? Cause the solenoid on the top of the carb towards the back doesn't look much like it... Red and black wires, where do they hook up on the 8-pin connector?

I'm sorry for asking all these questions. You're a gold mine of information though!

Haha thanks

It's inside the carb......mounted to the underside of the air horn (top section of the carb) and it has 2 wires that exit out of the top of the carb just about dead center and the wires have a black plastic sheath over them.

Here are some pics of it....

The bottom (other end) of the mixture solenoid fits into the recess & hole at the top of this pic.....

More pics of it......

Again, the hole that the bottom of it fits into.......below the center brass jet in the pic.....

The wires & connector (near the end of the screwdriver) for the mixture solenoid.......this plugs into the wiring harness near the front of the carb.....

Here you can see where the wires for the mixture solenoid enter the top of the carb....right above where the fuel enters the carb......

Mixture solenoid is removed from the air horn of the carb in this pic.....

Ohhhhh! Bingo. Thanks so much. That wasn't the one with the clipped wires. I was thinking either of the electronic deals with the red and black wires on the top.

Speaking of which. I reconnected all the red and black wires to their right harness. Didn't do much. What are those anyways?

One is the "Slow Fuel Cut Solenoid Valve" and the other one is the "Air Vent Solenoid Valve".........

Then there is a "Coasting Richer Solenoid Valve" also.......
