carb help

i have a b2200 and have a mechanic that says i need a new carb.i cant find any b's at the junk yard and dont want to buy a brand new carb for 300 bucks.is there any carb from a another that will be compatible?

I saw a stock carb for sale on here last week......

If you can't find one I've got a stock carb, But the rebuild kit for it is about $180 dollars it's a nikki stock one off a 92 B2200.I check on here every day if you want it.

would it fit?where are you located?how would i know if my carb is totally done?saw those webers just cant afford it as of now.

If you still want a carb, I have a weber that I took off of mine and replaced with a new weber thinking that it needed a new carb and it def didnt. $150 and its yours.
