gas coming from exhaust manifold

Check out b2600i.com he's a good guy. I know he deals mostly with the 2600s but send him an email and check and see if he's got any 2200 ecu's or if he can refurbish yours...

thank you for all the info. i open up the ecu and notice that the circuit board is toast in multiple areas.

The harnesses between the B2200 and the B2600i are the same, if you can't find a 2.2 ecu a 2.6 ecu will plug in and your truck will work.

if anybody can point me in the right direction or have one laying around and would like to get rid of it let me know i've searched online,ebay(too rich for me ) craigslist and local bone yard ( pick n pull ) with no luck will try again tomorrow

take a picture of your board, let us see how bad it is. It may look bad but be a simple fix really.

I found this on the other forum, it's a post with similar issue that you have. Try looking up AVPro. For what I read, $160ish for repair with lifetime warranty (if it can be repaired that is.) worth a look.

pick up new ecu from o'reillys start up and run fine but smoke a little and rpm @ 1grand at idle
