New head is in, came with new valves and valve springs ($790), all gaskets replaced
BUT still over heating Going to for a long a s s drive today to town to see if I can get an electric fan set up AND a new water pump Kill two birds with one stone
Need to go fishing this weekend, so hoping this is gonna fix it once and for all

You mean that the vanes on the original water pump were corroded away in 16 years? Wow. We need to see that, please post a picture. Of the water pump. Or yourself.

Great job though, and most likely you're way better off with the new cylinder head.

Not corroded so much, but the guy was running it on straight town water and our water has a high level of calcium in it. So she's seized up due to calcium deposits in it
