hey Bpete, I cant find my camera to get those pics for ya. i did however find them on my photobucket. As you can see this is just some 2x2 welded and bolted to stock leafs ends (no hyme joints or link ends needed).this set up would be perfect for you since you dont want side to side. Now the trickey part is getting the bolt on the other end lined up perfectly to act as your centering pin. then the pan hard is just some 1" dom with threaded ends to screw the ends on. these HAVE to be ADJUSTABLE to allow for you to take in the slack on one side or the other to center your axle. I had negative pinon angle before when i was running monos with shims, that caused me to burn out the rear main seal of my transmission. After doing this I have positive pinon angle with no problems. I know a lot of people knock 2 links and they think they are scetchy, but my truck handles and rides so much better now than before. Hope this work for ya Bro.

How did you go about measuring to see how long you need your 2x2'2 to be? And how did you measure for the center pin to make it perfect?

NA Bro, I dont mind if you use that design.

Mount the 2x2 to the leaf spring end, hang it in the hanger and run it back to where your axle is. ensure that your axel is perfectly straight (meaning the same measurments on each side). then i simply spray painted the bottom of the axle where the blocks are sitting, then while its still wet raise the bar up and itll put paint on your lower bar leaving a round dot not painted. that is your centering pin mark that needs to be drilled out. i would suggest drilling this out on a level surface, and using a drill that has a level on the end of it to ensure both holes are aligned perfectly.

Remember measure 20 times then cut or drill once. you need precision on the alignment, not eeehhh that looks close. Hope it all works out for ya. post up some pics on your build thread showing your progress with this. I would love to see it as it comes along

200% correct! Its not that you don't want to hit sides but you need to... True story, I have a friend with a stock floor chassis and a 2-link. The chassis is so stiff that when he pulls into steep driveways he losses traction on one tire, lol. Being its an open diff in the rear I have seen him get "stuck" and start smoking the tire trying to get up the steep driveways. This happens because the 2-link has turned the rearend into a gaint sway bar.
