Bag on bar set ups

Wow.. after seeing those.. I feel way under developed... hahhah.. anyways.. check my build thread, I posted my old truck in there.. bag on bars.. nothing fancy, but it was solid and worked well.

Ok guys could u cut the rear frame crossmember out and put the top bars (without the bag mounts) coming from the rear of the truck to the rearend. This was an idea we had today. Thought was it would keep the rearend from flexing. What does everyone think and why.

I think you're referring to a 50/50 link setup? Lower bars are forward and the upper bars going towards the rear? If so, during suspension travel the rear end is being "rolled" towards the rear of the truck. There's a neat little video on YouTube that shows what the axle does with the different types of link setups
