Anyone built there notch?

Ok I'm making a template for my notch for those of u who have bulit there's what angle did u out your cuts on? I was thinking 75 to 80 degrees

Mine are 45 angles I can tuck 24s but I only have 22s

I think my final was something like 80 degrees not 45.

I never said I would put them on it. I prefer my 16s but why stop at 16s when the next person who gets it may want 30s.

are you plating the outside? If not better flatten the bottom of those or your only contact point will be at the lowest poi.t which is weak by the way. Mine are made out of 1/4" steel. I still plated the outside because remember this isn't just your life your saving. Its who ever is around you that is in danger if that notch fails. A cracker box 110 welder won't cut it either. Do it right. Do it once.
