I agree with what he said. What material did you use to build the notch and the notch cross member? I would replace the metal that goes from the notch to the top of the bag plate with an 11 gauge to 1/4" wall 1.5" or 2" OD tube. It would give you the strength and also look better.

To add to what baha said and by no means do i intend to nitpick your truck but i would also suggest better gussets on the bag plates. The better gussets will prevent your bag plates from bending and causing problems later on.

I will work on the those gussets this weekend and let me know what you think my best plan of attack for the upper bar.

The wishbone needs to run forward from the axle towards the cab, in member projects there is a thread called oldschools b2200 rebuild. He has a wisbone setup that would give you a good visual reference. If i knew how to share the link to it here i would lol.

So not to pry but when setting up the upper bar do my bags need to be aired up or down to set the angle of the rear end. To make sure it's straight when it's up

You need to set your pinion angle for your ride height. So whatever height youll be riding at the most is where it should be set. If it were me i would make the wishbone adjustable that way if you ever need to readjust your pinion angle or you set it up wrong you arent stuck having to rebuild.

id say definatly reinforce/gusset those bag brackets they look home made which isnt a horrible/bad thing but you definatly want to look into making your gussets and mounts similar to something proven consistently ive never seen a gusset styling such as yours. as for the link the 3rd bar/upper bar definatly needs to be facing forward.
