Thanks for the input gentleman Interior is coming along, Need to finish up the sheetmetal in the bed as soon as the weather gets decent again... Unless..... I get a new garage soon.... Hmm... All thats left for the inside, it the back wall piece Im making to cover the metal, going to wrap some wood that way it looks cleaner, and my driver side door panel... and..... finish up my seat mounts so I can actually bolt them in..

Project is looking great! Like how the interior is turning out. Clever idea on the sending unit mounting.

p.s. really like your new "diesel"

Thanks Linn Hes a good lil boy! I tried finding fittings to adapt for what I wanted, but nobody had what I needed, I went to a hydraulic shop and asked the owner for the fittings he laughed, told me to make them myself. I explained to him I didnt have a drill press, he then asked me if I knew how to do it, I said yes.. He said come on back I have all the tools, so all in all he let me use his tools and shop to do what I needed, I have never met the old man before.. I gotta say it was nice as hell. People like him are what makes younger generations learn and do things themselves and motivated them to help others too Thought Id share.

I kinda got a soft spot for dimes, and I really like what you've done with this one. Even better that you saved it from certain death beside a barn.

I got my hole saw yesterday and cut the hole out today for the gauge. After cutting it out I used glazing putty to make everything level Sanded smooth, Opted out of painting it.. Kinda wanted to try to something different, We sell this "carbon fiber" wrap crap at my work and decided to try and wrap the two side pieces (Gauge mount/ Headlight switch) actually came out pretty decent. Im actually thinking about leaving the gauge by itself and mounting my switches elsewhere for the compressor and ground switch for the tv. Tell me whatchya think.. Sorry for the crappy pics, its dark out and just finished.. Looks great (at night ) lol We'll see tomorrow morning.

Chevy, The lovely people they are, The spot next to the "defroster" switch in the suv is raised compared to the rest of the panel, Unfortunately (In my opinion) I didnt do a good enough job to lift the rest to match, you can still kinda tell.. Ah well. First time cant complain too much

Actually like how your carbon fiber turned out - nice alternative to paint. The nighttime pic of the gauges looks killer!
