Thanks guys. The stud gun and slide hammer is the best investment if you ever plan on doing body work, Its helped me out tremendously. Welding the gas door in the rain was a bad idea lol and as you can see theres a bit of filler on it. Still making it straight even after today, Found some more high spots and hammer those down today, ground down the paint on the passenger side where there were dingers. Guide coated and sanded again on the passenger bedside today. Got the lil angle grinder out and scuffed all the lil dents so I can lay some filler down after work tomorrow. The only thing slowing me down is my compressor. Its old, and only 17gal. So I cant use my airtools as much as I would like. Driver side after tomorrow should be ready to primer. I bought an entire 16x350ft roll of plastic sheeting to wrap the truck to spray it. I have more than enough haha. I took pics but dont feel like grabbing my camera to upload them lol.. So tomorrow I will upload

Got the hood and fender primered. Glad I picked black primer Shows all the imperfections I still need to fix, the fender jus needs blocked and tomorrow I have 3-4 tiny dingers to fix on the hood, then block it. Then onto the door etc etc.. Should be in primer entirely by this weekend, I have 2 and a half weeks til this show and I still need to get my truck to Chico to my buddies booth the final prime it. That way its clean and no dirt in the air..

Haha, Its the nicest one Harbor Freight sells, Ive tried em all, to the cheap $10.00 HF one to the newest digital $899.99 guns, and believe it or not, They pretty much all spray the same, I was actually pretty upset when I bought this gun, the tip is identical to my $700 gun! So. I use my HF gun for primer and most base coats. If I deem it necessary Ill use the more expensive guns for actual paint and clear. But quite honestly I love using my HF guns the most, they are IMO more comfortable in my hand..

After weeks and weeks of busting my ass and spending lots of money my truck is looking better. Got the whole truck primed, blocked, primed and after summer Ill finish blocking and do the final prime then paint all at once. For now the truck is staying like this, Im kinda burnt out on working on stuff and wanna spend time with the fam and taking it to shows. Theres a few local shows coming up I pan on going to with it. One I went to yesterday, Heres a few pics. Unfortunately no trophy seemed like only the classics won anything, I was the only bodied vehicle out there and one of 4 bagged rides. It was a fantastic feeling though having everyone come and see my truck and all the comments were great, I literally had just finished primer the night before and you could smell it was fresh all day lol
