So, for the biggest part once tore into my motor i found out that it needs a full rebuild. For now its getting pulled, removing my hei distributor, torker 2 intake, and 186 double humps.
Now all this is going back onto a 1971 307, from a camaro 1st gen, keepin it true haha. after few articles on the 307 through chevelle tech novas etc. non found for camaros of that day?????
Now I know there are few GM guys in here lurkin about. Wit the 64cc chamber an 2.02/1.60 valves, alongside a good 600 cfm carb, single plain intake, and a good cam a 10:1 compression ratio can be achieved. without a bore. they would run 13's 12's in old novas an chevelle's. But what kinda cam??? i couldn't find that, or overlooked it.
Now, I know my irocz is lighter than those cars. backed with a th350 with 2800 stall with 3.73 gears should I expect good solid passes?? the techs i read where for streetable cars with options, im just p/s. the 327 is waiting for a full bore and rebuild over time
