If it feels spongy, bleed it...

..and then again if your using the clutch to change gears and it changes smoothly, you should be good.

Hey, the worst bleeding it will do is just use up some brake fluid...

True, but every other time I finally got pressure and bled it, it lost all of its pressure. It doesn't feel spongy so I think it will be good.

..are you bleeding it right?

or maybe you let the resevoir run out of fluid... lol.

..and just for the record and being off-topic and all, but is that you in your avatar pic?

Yea I was bleeding it right. But before the only time I got it to have pressure was when we pumped fluid up the system and then closed it. Then when I went to bleed it it lost all the pressure right away before I even got a chance to work my way thru the bleeding process.

This time it now has pressure w/o pumping it up so I doubt it would do that again but I don't really wanna risk it lol.

And before the reservoir lever never went down once so it didn't run out of fluid. But anyways, I think it will be ok I just wanted to make sure that if I didn't bleed it and there was still air in the system that it wouldn't cause any damage or something.

And yes that is me but that pic is very photoshopped... And besides I cut all my hair off yesterday lol.

No offense zaccut, but it seems like you make things more complicated than it really is, LOL!

I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt when it came to the carb, but this one should have been a no-brainer.

Mazda tweaker, the moment you posted that I saw it and tried it. Thats how I was bleeding it and I did see that particular sentence just thought maybe it still needed to be bled. But thank you for confirming that. I just didn't think the pedal would go from zero pressure to being normal again over night! When I last left it the pedal had no pressure and was still sticking to the floor... Go figure though.

Man this one should have been a no brainier yes, I followed every step I had been told over and over again. I don't know what fixed it but it doesn't really matter. It's fixed and now I'm putting in my new seats.

Thanks everyone.
