do i hafta git a weber to replace that ugly airbox or is it a 'recommended' thing? can't really afford the weber now but i just wanna clean up the engine.
ok i started tearin into it some more last nite. so what do i do bout the vacuum lines that run to the bottom of the old air box on the bottom? plug 'em off?
You can actually buy a Air cleaner adapter for 86-93 trucks to get rid of the stock Air Cleaner, and put on a nice chrome one, I bought one like a year ago, and havent put it on yet. looks like it'll fit good though
aany auto parts store that sells aftermarket air cleaners such as autozone its like 12 bucks and plug em off take the exhaust tubes and pinch em shut or make blockoff plates outa 12gauge sheet metal for the down pipes and brass solid caps for the manifold
I bought some huge bolts from the hardware store for the exhaust manifold tubes. When I get the time, I will cut the flush with the manifold. as far as the down tubes, cant you just remove them from the bottom of the exhaust down pipe?
