its ok to plug anything you want as long as the truck runs good afterwards. Its not meant to run without any of those solenoids but whatver you can make work, works, right.

the ONLY 2 u can't unplug are your vacuum advance for your distributor and your vacuum line to your brake booster. everything else is pretty much fair game. you may or may not have to adjust your timing afterward. seems like i had to...

i was looking at my engine today, and i have no vacuum lines going to the filter or to those 3 boxes on the wall and it runs fine

I know this is kind of an old thread but do you have any pics after you got this done and did you figure out the part number on that adapter. I'd like to do this on mine. Thanks......

Really? You guys are removing the emission stuff with the stock carb? Huge no no! Not because it is bad for the environment, it bad for your truck. This confuses the crap out of the computer and the truck goes into "limp home" mode, and it runs rich. Some mistake the truck running rich as an improvement in performance, too bad it is not.

What happens to vehicles that constantly run rich? They die, that's what happens. I really wish someone would have chimed in about this before you removed all of that stuff. But at least now you have a more pressing reason to buy a Webber. The 32/36 is the way to go buy the way.

dude.. go to a junk yard and pick up a carb top for an 80's caravan, there plastic and you can fit a cone filter on them.. ill post a pic of my buddies isuzu with one on it...
