If you relocate the battery to the cab make sure you take the above advice!

I have my Optima in the cab and haven't had any problems...I used #2 welding cable for my leads which is a helluva lot better than battery cable...

Make sure you use a circuit breaker as well...I have a Stinger inline and it works well...

This is how mine is setup....Also on the ground cable the stock wiring goes from the block to the frame to the battery...you want to keep it that way! Makes for an awesome ground...

so if i get a starter relay, hook it up just like the above picture? i actually found a digram of the whole set up.
so if i hook it up like the link i should be fine? i'll use a 3 position switch to activate the solenoid.
i would probably want a solenoid off that link for a V8 ford? i figured a solenoid for a V8 should be able to handle more than a solenoid for a 4 cylinder. have no idea if this is true or not but it sounds good...let me know .
thanks.

You can buy 200 amp relays if you want to....most if not all shops selling air ride carry these...like this one

( alright Dev, there is your free Bag Shack plug for the day, lol )

thanks.... think i'll use the relay you posted a link to. far as hooking it up, the link i posted will that work? or should i just run a switched power wire to the relay like the digram audioinmotioninc posted. so when truck is running both batteries are charging. devb22 digram doesn't really make much sense to me. not sure where the relay is drawn in, or the second battry.

thanks for the help.
