Please Help With an Electrical Draw.

FOUND! The draw was one of the wires on the alternator. So i uplugged the the one that is white witha red stripe. No more draw. the problem is i dont know what i unplugged. It still charges and seems to run fine, but im sure this wire had a purpose. It was plugged in at the bottom next to a small yellow wire. There is also another wire at the top of the alternator and the large one that goes to the battery. So can someone tell me what the small white with red stripe wire that plugs near the bottom is? Thanks guys

back to the subject, does the wire come off the alternator and plug into another set of wires? going from 1 wire from the alternator to 2 wires to something else? (not sure if that makes sense) but if it does than check out the terminals where they plug into each other. i don't remember my 89 having this but on my 83 i had a similar issue, it turned out that the terminals were burnt up, so i cut the ends and spliced them together and no more problems. mine was also white with a red stripe. so you may want to check that out man.
