I never over heated it... It was running hotter then I would of liked, so I yanked the thermostat... But seriously... There's no way all that coolant could of gone inside the motor... It wouldn't run.

coolant = h2o + ethylene glycol. Both are combustable under the right temp and pressure ie inside a cylinder.dont kid urself,a truck with a blown head gasket can easily digest 1/2 a radiator full of coolant in a pretty short trip.as tweaker said have the system pressure checked.bj

There is no coolant in the oil. I've checked the dipstick. I'm not retarded.

Re;the smoking-sometimes they will and sometimes not and if they do it is usually just a wisp at start-up.One sure way to tell is start the truck and stand by the tailpipe.if u smell a slightly sweetish smell u have antifreeze in the combustion chamber.Carbon monoxide is oderless,so a sweet smell from the tailpipe = a headgasket leak.the other thing to look for is a lot of water vapor from the tailpipe cause the water in the antifreeze may not all burn off and may come out the pipe as vapor.bj
