Mazda 2.0 engine

So, im about to buy a truck that has a 2.0 motor out of a bongo van....


i cant seem to find any aftermarket parts for this motor at all...

what year is this 2.0.. check out eslinger engineering .com.. they mostly build 2.3 but they do have stuff for the 2.0'

say the motor is outa a bongo van, is it just the head, or the whole engine? if so it was imported, the head is a sohc 12 valve version that they use in the vans same as the cars (626, mx-6, etc) but the dizzy is on the front end of the motor instead of the back. bottom end will be the same as the b2000's....

what kinda parts are you lookin for? paeco industries in b'ham al can make or get you about anything, has stuff as well....it all depends on what your wanting, let me know & I can probably point you in the right direction.

yeah thats because theres not a lot of parts out there for our motors just carbs. and headers thats about it

and it is the freakin Mazda Magnum with about 120 hp stock,hi domed pistons and all-u lucked out Tonto.BJ

yeah as BJ said, it would be sweet to have just the bongo head much less the whole engine....
