poof it stops running while driving

This morning was the 2nd time it has just up and stop running on me.
About 2 weeks ago i was cumming up to a red light and i was wanting to turn right at the light. Right before i got to the light it turned green, So i popped her into 2nd and made my right turn and then(poof it stops running) i coasted off the the right. Stopped and then started it right back up. Hmmmm i thought
But this morning about 4am i was comming home from work and was on a highwayand just exiting off a exit(40mph) and then poof it stopped running. So again i coast off to the right. Then she starts right back up. On both times i still had electricity(radio playing,phone charging). It just ups and stops running,Anyone have a clue?

check all ur wires on coil and stuff mate, sounds like a loose wire to me

Mine does that sometimes and if i jiggle the key it gets connection back and is fine lol.

could be ignition key switch..or something clogging the fuel line

Hey, I had an 87 Dodge Dakota with the 2.2. I believe the motor is or close to being indentical to your 2.2. I had a similar problem. I had a service manual at the time and tracked the problem down to a suspect module in the distributor. I debated on buying the part and replacing it myself but I wasn't 100 percent sure that was the problem with it being intermittent. I finally took the truck to the dealer and sure enough they replaced the part with one they had in stock. Seems like the part was under the rotor but that was 20 years ago.

this has happened to me before too man, it happened to me twice in the exact same spot while driving to school earlier this year. i never figured it out though, and it hasn't happened since

I went to go start this afternoon for work and on the first attempt it wouldn't start. I gave it 5 attempts. On the 3rd attempt it ran for 5 second then died. On the attempts it did turn over but it will no start. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Ok this is a stupid question but since I am new to this site I wanted to find out what your talking about with the bermuda triangle. Please fill me in.
