distributor pwoer wire

The manual says the dis. power wire goes to the main relay..... where is that??? My wire isn't gettin power at all.... so i know thats my problem. i jus don't know where the damn relay is

ok... yea its the big metal one.... Its not clickin so i guess its bad.... Im gonna try to get one tomorrow at u pull it. Cuz brand new, they are 160 bucks!!!!

Bodied B2600zx, when you trid starting your truck, when was that relay intended to click? i need to check that on mine

I don't know really. I had someone feel for it when i turned the key to the on position and to the crank position. I think that relay powers everything on the motor.


See, what i did was i needed a new distributor plug so i was cuttin the old one off and was a dumb ass and didn't disconnect the battery and the key was on.... So the wires started smokin. Well i reran the bad wires and replaced the distributor. The dis isn't even gettin power so its gotta be that relay

what i did was when i cut my inner fenders out i accidently cut the wires for that relay with my grinder, didnt realize that i did that, so once it came time to start it, i put the battery back in it and started cranking, maybe i fried something out if some wires were touching........ i dont know i will probably go to upull and see if i can get my hands on one and try that.....

ya mine jus turns over all day with no spark

yea mine does the same thing, do you think i could have shorted something out? or blown that relay?
