OIL EATER IS THE BEST. U CANT BEAT IT. I USE IT EVERYDAY ON EVERYTHING.

i'd use diesel fuel if you have it. Take a wire brush to the caked on crap. Brake cleaner will evaporate real nice. The trick with engine paint is to make sure the area is really clean and bare metal.
