so i got the carb on and same problem. its running rich too. i didnt install a fuel pressure regulator but i think i am going to. the only thing that really sucks is the problem now seems a little tiny bit worse with the weber. but it sounds wicked cool

your a smart man Todd. my vacuum advance isn't exactly a silver and gold thing its rust. however that doesn't matter. i need a distributor, unless there's a way to fix the advance.. I tried your trick and nothing moves so i moved it by hand and it was stiff. i still have a new kick ass Weber though hopefully i can get up early enough to go to the junk yard and find a new dizzy. Is the 2000 and 2200 the same ?

My b2200 has a b2000 dizzy. Yust have to ask for a b2000 cap and rotor next time you need them cause they're diferent.

same problem here, is it suposed to be stiff? can i rebuild the dist? is the advance replaceable?
