OK..Ive had it with my B2600i G6 engine. I have a truck that is like BRAND new and this engine has aggrivated me to the point of wanting to smash it with a sledge hammer!

Does anyone know if the JE27 from an MPV will bolt up to the bellhousing of the B26005 speed transmission? I can get a complete low mileage truck for $500.00 and am looking to do the swap. I'll use a stand alone computer if I have to but don't want to be fabricating new framing. It looks like it would bolt up!

The B2600i in the 95 MPV and the B2600i in the Pickup are identical. I would be very surprised if mazda made two transmissions. I cant find any pics online as to what the back of the engine looks like. Also, not sure if the JE27 came in a 5 speed so the flywheel could be an issue. Any help is appreciated to help me make this decision.

I am not sure about the V6, but there is a guy that runs around my area that put the "B2600i" equivilent from a MPV into his truck. No mounting differences or anything. Not sure if this helps or not, just a thought that I had.

Maybe take the engine and the trans... It might make the swap a lot easier.

Here is the back of a G5 which is the same as the G6 in the B2600i just smaller displacement.

anyone have pics of the JE27 in the same view to see if it mates to the 2600i transmission? If so the swap is a no brainer. I can't find that they made V6 5 speed MPV's...ony 5 speeds are 2.6L...I know they made 929's with 5 speeds so the flywheel is available...but does it mate up.

Check out this link to ebay.

One of the pictures shows the rear of the engine. You might be able to see if that will work based on the pictures.

That tells me what I needed to know but not what I hoped for. Its clear the B2600i and JE are not the same. I may be able to have a custom interface made but it may not be worth the effort.
Thanks !
