if you have any more questions just ask im sure someone will chime in with some advice. when you get the rings on and go to put them back in, i usually squeeze the rings together with my hand and spin them around the piston to make sure they move freely and dont hang up anywhere. are you using the old pistons or new pistons? either way i would check that ive built some at work that the new ring be slightly miss machined and would hang up. you dont want the ring to freeze up in the hole. and the best thing you can do when puttin one together is just make sure everything is good and clean, and use plenty of clean engine oil going back together, you can have to much oil when building one, (just as long as it aint sitting on top of the pistons when you put the head on)
