Well they worked on it today. I finally got my dad to check the rotor and he messed with it a lil and it went to missing less, and he thinks it has stopped missing now as a matter of fact. Now he says there is a pingin under the valve cover. So im guessing one of the rockers is loose, I hope thats all it is atleast.

He said it is still missing now, he said when he pulls the number 1 plug it does nothing, and continues running as is. If any others are unplugged alone it goes dead. So now I know it is something is up with the number cylinder. He said it is clicking, someone once told me that if an injector is clogged it will do this. I just dont see anyway it could be anything but the injector. Any thoughts?

dude, my truck did that this morning. It ended up that cylinder 2 wasn't firing.

the fact that pulling #1 did nothing means that the roblem is with cylinder 1.

My dad had he engine running (while cold, not up to temp) and sprayed penetrating oil over the disributor, wires, side of head etc. Then we were able to see that the distributor was being grounded to the engine rather than firing cylinder 2 (the oil will conduct the electricity, and you can see the spark better with the oil cause there is less resisence than sparking through the air). The clicking you hear is the spark grounding out.

You should put the truck inside a garage to warm up, or put a small heater under the hood for a short while with the hood closed to get rid of any moisture.

You should also buy a new distributor cap and plug wires (under $40 together)

best of luck

Mazda Tweaker I REALLY appreciate your advice, as I said in the first post I won't be able to see for myself until this weekend, and my dad doesnt know how to change the injector so I cant mess with it until then.

It does have a new cap and rotor along with new wires and plugs
