low budget mods?

I'd re-index the torsion bars, maybe flip the balljoints if ya want to drop it a bit more.

anybody know of a way to remove the window handles i guess im gonna switch my three inch blocks for 4" i dont know of any places that would heat the springs and sombody told me that you have to heat them to get the pin out of them

The window cranks have a small metal clip that holds them on, like this


They shouldn't need heated up.

yeah take a rag and slide it back and forth between the door handle and the door panel. The clip will get caught in the rag, popping the handle loose.

Springs will dissassemble with a wrench and hammer. No heat. If the u bolts are rusty you will need to cut the bolts off and replace them with new... BTW just pull the second longest spring and stay with the 3" block. Much safer that 4" IMO.

sup guys me again ive been looking at all the junk yards around here for a oem 14 steelie cheapests one i found was 40$ and they wont even let me see it before i buy it so my question is does anybody have this wheel they just want to git rid of if shipping is cheap ill take it

another question is it worth it for me to remove the leaf it dont seem like it would make that much difference monday im gonna get a camera and put some pics of the truck on here then you can see what i mean i just want to level it out

hey me again i think im getting an idea of where im goin with this i remove the shift boot and saw that the shifter is chrome cool i pushed it as far down as possible and bought a chrome skull knob i like it i think i wanna go street rod on this one still no pics yet but will soon on another note im changing the rear shoes and wishing i had a guide or tips of doing this the drums still look fine im having a problem getting all these peices to line back up ill keep yall informed

i have another question why would m my emergency brake stop working after i change the rear brakes but the rear brakes are working and also i slammed on the brakes to see if the back ones were working and the coil went out weird huh

update on what ive done ive changed the rear brake shoes and put a new coil on for some reason the emergency brake isnt working now but the back brakes work fine also i was looking at the shifter under the boot and noticed it was chrome so i shortened the boot and put a chrome shift knob on it
