whistle or screaming noise....HELP!!!

I know these trucks can barely get out of thier own way but I hate the noise. I will say this though......Stock they have what.....84 horsepower....mine is bored 40 over with both the head and block decked so I bet I have at least 85 horsepower now....lol

take some ether and spray aronud the carb vac lines any thing that could be pulling in air and go slow and if the idle goes up you have found a prob, also check the throttle blades on the carb had a few crbs that the blades got loose and it screamed till i found it pissed me off for a long time now first thing i check good luck

where on the carb are these blades you speak of?

inside there the throttle blades that move when you floor it hope it helps
