I don't know if there is a guide on the forum or not. If somebody could link one or write one up for me that would be great.
Thank You,

it requires speciallity tools to replace valve seal guides... and if you do it wrong you could end up screwing the head up and will have to replace it.... best bet for you is, if you dont know how to do it, take it to someone that does know how or buy a new head... good luck

oh and one more thing... if your trying to replace the seals because the truck smokes... it may not be the seals or just the seals... bad piston rings will cause and engine to smoke as well....

Hayes manual helped me change mines. Not that hard to do but like everyone is saying, you do need to have mechanical knowledge to tackle this job. Or you could take the head off and just send it to a machine shop and have them change the seals.

I have a chiliton manual not sure if it would have the info on valve seals or not. All i really need to know it if i can do this with the head on the truck i know you need specialty tools like the one to put compressed air into the cylinder to hold the valves up. How does one get the keepers off that's another question I had.
