2200 with 2600 crank?

use the whole running 2.0 in your mazda. why frankenstein if you have a working running motor... just do a swap...

well cuz i already have lots of mods done to the 2.2, im just looking for more power. i already have the weber conversion, the longtube header, fully ported intake with cooling jackets/ports filled, funny ported and polished head, bigger valves, upgraded springs and retainers, methanol injection, and lots more stuff, i havnt even touched the bottom end yet, thats why i was asking, i mean, im already pushing around 200hp, i just want more power without doing a complete swap, if i was gunna swap it, i have a 2.3 our of my totaled ranger thats pushing near 500 hp with the turbo, but i wanna stick with the carb

hey< i saw that you port and polished the head. on my 2.2l i have the same upgrades : Webber carb and Header. but if i was to port and polish the head, intake & exhaust ports, with a bigger fuel pump how much HP would that give me approx.??

I think I detect a whiff of-is it,maybe--just a whiff of BOLSHOI here.I have a 2200, with a Paeco cam,solid lifters,Weber, header,Accel ignition.billet crank pulley,elec fan, polished and ported intake,reworked head,stiffer springs, aluminum retainers, etc,etc.Tuned to the max I dynoed 122 rwhp.u tell me u r pushing 200 hp with the same basic setup?And u havent touched the bottom end? And u didnt know that a 2600 motor is totally different than a 2200? A 2200 is a stroked 2000, thats how u get the extra 200 cc displacement.And ur running methanol? and the lower end hasnt grenaded on u? Either u r the best Maz engine builder I have evr seen OR the luckiest Maz engine builder I have evr seen OR u need to take up fishing as well as Maz building.BJ

ok, well ive never actually really looked at a 2.6, nor do i care to, but anyways, the meth starts spraying at 2000 rpm, and is at full spray at 3000 rpm,and the meth cools the engine wayyyy down, so im dumping more fuel also, lots more fuel, so, i get like 15 mpg on the highway. and it dyno'ed 186 on the engine dyno, so thats crank hp, sorry, i thought i put that, guess i didnt, and as for how i got that much power, my uncle worked at a mazda dealership from 79 till like 92 or 93, i gave him the truck and let him do everything, cuz he can squeeze power out of them. but im wantin something different now, like a turbo/carb setup, im tired of fi.. carbs are easier to tune, lol
