my truck did the same......all of it...i found a wire in the harness that go's to the injecters ( i thank it is black and yellow) it gives power to the injecters and it was not getting any.... tryed all sorts of things... and found a relay on the pass. side that runs the injecters and it was bad not sending full power just enf to run the coil so i was getting spark but no gas.... its gold and has wires coming out of it maybe 4 to 6 inchs then a plug i moved mine so i remember were it was to start with, but i than it was on the fender beside the battery..... i replaced it and it started right up..........not saying this is the prob, but may be something to look in to

my friend had the same truck you did and it didnt run when he bought it. the kid told him it was the mass airflow sensor so me and him went to the junkyard picked one up for 25 bucks went to the kids house and threw it on. the truck was tryin to start but wouldnt. we put 5 gallons of fresh gas in cause the truck sat for a year and when we did this it fired rite up and we drove it home no problems. when we went to drve it later it would run but spit and sputter and would shut off when you gave it gas. he pulled out the computer on the pass. side kick panel and next to one of the little black towers on the board fluid leaked out and fried part of the board. he sent it away and got it fixed fo like 50 dollars got it back in about a week and now lets just say we can catch second gear rubber no problem. from what we found out this is a common problem in these trucks and there are a couple of companys that repair them.

well i only had a few minutes over the weekend to mess with my truck plus my computer hasn't gotten back yet. so i took my other ecu and plugged it in for shits and giggles. put a wire in the yellow connector to run the fuel pump. it runs fine, checked everything else and all of the other parts are ok. injectors are still not firing. besides the computer im using has a big burn spot on the board so that doesn't solve anything haha

In your shopoing list of parts, I don't see the word "relay"

I listed a checkout procedure and linked it.

It requires the use of a LED test light at a minimum.

Jumping out the fuel pump will not deliver power to the ECU.

Maybe your ECU is bad.
Maybe when you get it back it will fix your issues.
But if it doesn't, you are still stuck with a non-starting issue that needs point to point diagnoses.

Maybe whatever burned out the first ECU will burn out any ECU plugged in to replace it.

Added edit:

Some of the trucks flash numeric codes if the check engine diagnostic plug is grounded. That information is also part of the link I posted.

if your talking about the fuel pump relay i swapped one of those in off a running truck when i first started figuring out the problem. just slipped my mind when i was listing parts, but its like i said earlier im limited to tools at this time. so im doing what i can. i really do appreciate all your help. i just dont have a meter to check with
