1987 b2200. weber carb. pacesetter headers. obviously with a weber the computer is non existent and if its still in the truck its doing absolutely nothing!!

and silvermax, ive been kinda putting off messing with the truck the past few days, so my problem still exhists, i spent a few hours trying to figure out whats wrong. my cap and button looked a little older, so i bought a cap and button but have yet to install them. my only other thought oh the problem is the exhaust. mazdatweaker suggested taking the o2 sensor out to see if the releaves the back pressure some. when i do more testings i will let you know what i come up with.

i don't have on o2 sensor, but i do have an extra computer, im going to plug that in right now to see if it makes a difference... i got nothing to lose....kev*

with a weber... the computer is doing nothing at all. all the computer did/does is control the emissions and how the STOCK carb preformed and nothing else. you dont even need a computer in the truck if you have a weber.

plugged in the extra computer i had and same thing happens. plugged in computer from my freinds bone stock running truck and still have the same problem. i think andrew is right, because changing the computers didnt change anything. too bad for me hahahahahahahahaha ha

from the list of replaced parts, the only other thing right off hand is, maybe, the distrib itself is bad, im hoping thats not my problem because i can't afford a dist. right now.

my dad said i should replace the stator and reluctor... i'm still trying to figure out what those are. a new distributor is $190+$85core charge. i gotta find out how to get paid for blood and sperm so i can afford to keep my truck.

have no clue what either of those are either.
