What year is your truck? I'm sure you have a pre 94 but if you have a later model check out this site for 2.0, 2.3L parts ?

What do you mean by rev up more? You may want to look into advancing the timing

It's no secret that the 2.2 is a lower reving engine. I do like it though
I read a post that a guy used a conversion guide to put better pistons
In a fe3 and a few otherthing. I'm sure some of that would work as long as they are not head parts obviously.

You can Lighten the flywheel to make it rev faster but I'd look into some sort of scatter shield because it can get pretty messy with those stock flywheels coming apart. We used to do it with our hondas back in the day,it helped considerably.

That might help abit but I was looking more toward something like forged pistons, cam, header, moroso oil pan,
Quad carb set up special valves port and polished head. Stuff to realy increase the power

My fault I thought you just wanted it to rev faster, Honestly do a swap if you really wanna make power. 150 is definately obtainable but thats alot of money and work for 150hp IMO

I kinda just want to see if i can do it. The problem is finding the parts. I'm not sure if the post I read eRlier on this is for Mazda or the ford 1.8 pinto motor. I can do the carbs my self but cams and a header would be nice. And of course I need to rebuild the bottom end

Come on guys help me out here. What else can be done to this thing. I'm thinking of running steet bike carbs custom cam, header, head, and exhaust. What over all performance do you think can be gained by this
