Do they make one for the Mazda I was under the I
Pression that It would have to be custom made. Also what probe parts can be used other then the head and F.I. I and on using cycle carbs. I herd of somebody using the crank pulley. What are the cans of that and what else is worth taking from that ugly beast?

what about the probe motor, is the extra valves worth the trouble..... woill it be easier to find performance parts even if i dump the F.I. iI still plan on running cycle carbs so with that the 12 valve head and head work to include larger valves and ports..... what do you think my horse power will come out to be?

You can do cams and exaust all day long but the heads on these things are crap and thats where you are gonna get screwed out of your money. If you are talking about using a probe engine and swapping the F.I. to carb are you gonna use carbs that you can use the turbo with? If not you are going to really make it in to a terd with the low compression those things have to accomidate the turbo.... There is a 12 valve head off of a bongo engine that is very very hard to source that was carbed and has the distributor in the right place. Now you wont be able to just use the head off of the probe engine due to distributor being jammed in to the firewall. You can always build around it im sure but seems that it would be hardly worth the trouble.

ok is there a v6 that will bolt straight to the engine mounts no mods just bolt in? i need a little more power but my god i found that bong head on ebay and it was like 650$ way to steep for just a bare head! what are my v6 options? I know there was a 3.0 in some of the 626's if i found a year that had the 4cl and the v6 i think there would be a way to mix and mach a set of engine mounts. But what are my options for trannys. i would love to be able to use the tranny out of a ranger. in fact how hard would it be to put a 1.8 pinto engine into the mazda? smaller i know butI know how to make them blow alot of pawer and the tranny options are great.

I'm starting to think I might just get rid of this damn thing. There is not enough mods and any mod is 500+ bucks. Hell that's the price of the damn rebuild kit and that's not the high end one either

Thats why most of us on this site love these trucks. You cant just buy one out of a magazine or from your local parts store. you actually have to "build" a custom truck.

Yeah that's cool and all but I just don't think I'm in any position to do all the custom work. But if anybody out the has a yota for trade let me know 1990 b2200 runs great I just want a 4x4 it dosent even have to run real well just eam me if you have questions
