theres a guy on ebay that rebuilds them, you send your in and in a couple days you get it back rebuilt,

if you feel brave enough you can pull the ecu apart and check it out, there are 2 capasitors that leak on to the board and ruin the traces, you coul take it to an electronics shop and have them solder up some new caps and fix the traces on the board

Where are you located?

I am in Irwin,PA (near Pittsburgh). I stopped by the shop and picked up the ECU from them... it is a re-manufactured one and I'm not having any luck with this part number. Not finding much on eBay for my model either that is a decent price (less than $100)

I have a 1990 B2600i, 2.6L, manual. 4x4, Fuel Injected

Also, it only has 2 connectors... not 3

Link to the guy that rebuilds them? I took my ECU apart and there is definitely some corrosion and crap on some of the electronics near the pins. I wish I knew of a shop around here that could fix it...

check fuses next to your battery, my fuel injection fuse has blown and left me scratching my noggin trying to figure out what it is. there is a guy local to me (puget sound area, washington) that rebuilt mine, $75 bucks, was ready in 3 days, came with a warranty, even showed me what he changed. also, there is a multi use ignition relay fuse that if it gets water inside of it (know this from personal experience) it shorts out and is one of the hardest damn things to track down (replaced my diz, ecu rebuilt, cap/rotor, plugs, wires, and coil all before i found it) and its not cheap to get replaced thru the auto parts stores. check everything and let us know?

I did check all the fuses next to my battery, all looked good. Like I said, I took it to a certified shop and they said the ECU is not sending any voltage out of it and that is the problem. Mine looks pretty corroded as well.

I am looking into a company that rebuilds ECU's... I called them and they sound pretty legit. I am just trying to figure out a price from them. They said 150 on the phone, but I found a site that says $75 from them:

Thank you. I did some reading on them on other forums and it appears their going rate is $260. It sounds like they do a great job, but I am not looking to spend that much.

I have one on eBay that I found for $150 but still trying to find cheaper.

I got a lead or two on craigslist. Waiting to hear back from a guy who said he has one. Need him to confirm the numbers for me and give me a price.
