Did a oil changed after I lost pressure fired it up after two seconds of running it shut off and wont crank over. If anybody has any input on unsticking my engine and if it will even run it'd be nice.

So.......the starter can't even turn the engine any at all?

Won't budge enough to crank it over all though it does seem to move it a touch everytime you try. If the engine is shot my friend has a 82 courier with a 2.3 I'm thinking about swapping into it since it'd have the mounts etc.

So you changed oil AFTER you lost oil pressure?
Then you fired it up and it stopped?
How long did it run after you lost pressure then changed the oil?
Did you address the loss of pressure at all?
2 seconds with no oil isn't long enough to seize a cold engine.
Did it make a horrible bloody noise?
Pull the plugs and see if you can turn it over on the main crank pulley bolt with a ratchet.

Okay whole story start to finish bought the truck a month back knowing oil pump was over pressurizing the system, but 73 for 500 cant beat that. I swapped the oil pump no biggy ran fine for 3 weeks once i got used to the manual choke and turning it off. Was riding into town looked down my oil pressure idiot light was flickering I shut it down coasted to the nearest parking lot had it towed home. Once home I took off the oil pan rechecked the bolts on the oil pump it seemed fine. I checked the sensor the wire was gunked up so I cleaned it off figured maybe the wire wasnt getting a good connection. refilled my oil started the engineran for a few seconds and stopped dead. the crankshaft bolt is a pain to turn due to the fact that its a huge bolt not the 21mm on my later one more like a 1.5-2" one. it had new oil before I switched the pump put new in after the pump and put new in right before it died, never once seen anything to give signs of something bad. Nothing was in my oil pan either.

Did you get any pressure while it ran for the 2 seconds?
Can you see the top of the chain if you take off the chain cover? (sorry, don't have a 1600 or 1800 to look at).
Maybe you got "lucky" and got a bound/broken oil pump chain.

Was no pressure my hand never left the key was about to shut it off when it stopped.

End to the mess timing chain broke wrapped around the crankshaft

What's your plan now, I have some engine parts off an 84

well I pulled the heads to fix the heads on my 84 the machine shop is porting and polishing them up. When I'm ready to do my engine swap on my 84 next year or this winter the engine is going into it with a weber carb and the 5 speed tranny. I totalled out my dads truck this last week though so everything is kinda slow motion till we get it back on the road or it might end with him taking the truck and we call it even.
