project mazaru? or suzda?

hey guys i just finished posting a how to on reindexing torsion bars in the suspension section, so i managed to snap a couple pics before all the batteries died i had.

i have a 91 b2200 i bought for 800 bucks. it passed safety with only needing a licence plate bulb, and passed etest only had to tune the carb a bit. very good deal i think. a farmer owned it for a while and didnt put too much km on it. i just rolled over 136k which isnt bad at all for a 20 year old truck.

so far i re-index the torsion bars, put 3 inch blocks in, and after removed the 2 middle leafs after not being low enough. right now it rides like poop cause the frames 2" from the axle and stock front shocks are bottoming out over sewers. soon i'll get a c notch and smaller shocks.

when i bought it he took the stereo out, and the wiring was botched. so boxing day i got a simple deck and 4 4" infinity reference speakers from futureshop. i rewired the front and rear speakers and soldered the wires.

this weekend i'll be hopefully putting in bucket seats from an old grand am ive had for a while. after will be either a sub in the middle or 2 shallow subs behind.

i snapped a couple pics in the dark tonight and i'll get more pics this weekend when i recharge the batteries and have some light oustide.

stock 205/70/14s i think could be wrong didnt think to remember just glanced one time. not gunna bag it though lol going a different route

lol good job. i would lift it a bit for winter time(used to when i was driving my lowered truck during winter), then slam it again for spring... you never know what frozen chunks are going to be looking to take your bottom valance off... or just getting plowed up by the crossmember

i just lowered it last week so shes staying haha my buddies got a welder were gunna make a c notch up hopefully get it done this saturday. maybe just one side. see how quick he works haha.

i managed to get one seat in on the weekend. i bolted it right to the floor. i sit pretty low in the truck now haha. its funny coming up to people in cars and im sitting lower then them haha. its from a 95 grand prix. this weekend im hoping to get a mini notch in with my buddy. trucks running like poop so i got a fuel filter ordered for tomorrow. start from there.

so i put in the fuel pump and its running fine again. some gunk came out of the old filter. must not have been letting the fuel go past it. i got the passenger side seat in now. boy they sit low!

also took off my rear bumper tonight, and it looked like crap behind it with rust and black spray paint so i put it back on for now.

i'll be starting my new project as soon as i sell my s10 box so i have room in the garage and money for a welder. i bought a subaru legacy turbo for 500 bucks.

my plans will be to swap the engine, tranny, suspension, steering and brakes from the subaru into the truck. HUGE task.

last 2 nights i have ripped out the dash seats and carpet. once i get a welder i will be bodydropping the truck, then swapping the engine in.
