"The Mudder Fugger" 87 B2600 project

Ok y'all who are still lookin at this thread. I figured out what the problem was with it shutting off in on position. I had a wire on the ignition coil wrong. Fixed that and now stays runnin permanently. Now i just gotta figure out where a parasitic drain is coming from. Also got the tach in. I also ordered new tail lights for it. They are on. I will post pics tomorrow night some time since i dono how to do it from my phone. Now all i have to do is give her a quick tune up and fix a part that broke on me and it should be good to go. Hopefully.

Got another update for my truck. I have insurance on it and i have tabs for it. So either tomorrow or monday she will go into the shop to get the carb worked on. And i also ordered a pacesetter header for her tonight. Cant wait to put that thing on.

Thats bout the only real update i have as of now. But the lights look so much better than stock. That and i broke one a while ago didnt have time to replace it till a few weeks ago.

Ok another update on the truck. Finally got it to the shop yesterday I think. I can't member now. But here is what they found out. Timing the way it was with out them touchin it, it was 45 degrees off. So they timed it. The vacuum advance hose that runs from the distributor to the carb was in the wrong spot. *I did not put the carb on so that one not my fault.* so they fixed that. The starter was shot so I went and got another one from orileys instead of Autozone. They put the new starter on and it fired right up. I'm thinkin it was the starter that was f'ed up to begin with. I had to tap the starter to get it to unbind. I'm also thinking that was the problem with the no start condition. Anyway they also found that the choke was way to tight and loosened that up and there was no power to the choke so they found a place to plug it in with power. After all of that the total for two hours work of work and $2.50 in shop supplies and tax $176 and some change at $80 an hour. Will be taking my truck there more often. Love the work they did, fair price and great people willing to work with you. Oh I almost forgot two of the spark plugs where fuel Fowled from me driven it from my house to there while its back firing. All in all I'm happy to have my truck back.

Ok I got the header on now. No more loud shit and no more exhaust leak. I will post pics and try to see if I can post a video tomorrow.

Ok I know it has been a really long time since I have updated this, but I now have cranked the torsion bars a lil bit to level it out, I have also put brand new 31x10.5r15 bfg all terrain tires on the truck and brand new rims. Just gotta fix a radiator problem and a few miscellaneous things and she is good for now. I have a picture of the tires and rims I think on my phone. This is what she looks like right now.
