Thank you. I really wish I had more time to work on the truck. And I wish it was inside. Working in the cold rain sucks.

Shock mounts are now done other than paint.

I need to fab myself up a tubular core support!

That looks amazing!

What did you do with the part of the radiator where you put the radiator cap?
slowroller   +1y

I cut it off for the time being. Ill be making a swirl pot - expansion tank with the cap on top.

You just make everything sound so easy...
Damn I envy that kind of fabrication skills! Meanwhile, I'm stressing over how I'm going to fab up my motor mounts and exhaust system.

Your project is looking great man. So, have you decided about your rear end yet? Still going to just weld your diff?

Well it looks like they were a little generous with the demensions of my fuel cell, so in short its not gonna fit. I could put it directly behind the axle but that opens up an entirely new can of worms. First thats moving weight in the wrong direction. I want the bulk of mass inbetween the wheel centers for quick transitions. If I put it back there I would have to move my battery, which I just mounted, to the opposite side. And lastly the fuel cell would interfere with my swaybar mounting.

So Ill be using the stock tank, I just have to get the rust out of it.

Yes for now it will just be welded. Im not sure it will hold up when I build the boosted engine. If it goes ill build a 4 link and throw in a spare 4runner axle I have. Hmm some late model 4runners have electric selectable lockers. That would be nice.

Watch this video, even if you are not into drifting. This is what its all about for me. I just dont plan on beating my truck up THAT much.
