Schedule changed at work so the welding is falling behind because of me. But with that said on to the truck.
Got to work on it a good couple hours Sunday.
Notched the frame for the 2600's to fit.

Didn't trim enough just yet

Tire rubbing what's left of the inner fender, more trimming when it's time to weld the actual new inner back in. Will now fit some decent sized wheels want to say I measured around a 26" tall tire, after that it's in the brake booster.

Fender on, tire is close with the door not full drop.

What lift it should get from where the bag is placed, that's full drop of 10" doubt it sees it but it's possible.

New bag on left, old midget bag on right

New on the left, old shit on the right

I'm hoping to pick up the progress again soon. This one is my brothers truck and getting ready to pick up a project for myself. Got about four picked out to look at and all are different. So not sure what it will be just yet.

sweet make sure you post plenty of pics along the way.

Crew cab was a cummins, seen and heard it again the other day.

Now onto the project update, started working on the front again tonight. Got the notch in the frame all plated up and only thing left is to get some bolts from work to bolt the bags to the brackets so I can get them tacked into place good. After that 1 hour of welding and the front will be done. Who says 2600's can't fit on a Mazda? They do now. With that said next time I ever try to tackle one it's getting 2500's on it. No real pics for now, need to quit using fluxcore wire and get the argon so I don't have as much splatter but other wise just taking our time and doing it when I can. Schedule changed at work so no time to work on it.

Just remembered about this, no real updates though. Working too many hours and no free time. Still have a lot of welding to do but just a matter of when I find time to do it. It's not a rush to finish anymore. Just a whenever there is time.

Kinda temp bolted bags back in. Bed on. Planned to redo the back half but Matt (my brother who's truck this is) started working a trade for a crew cab dually. Going to finish welding the front and bolt it all back together and see what type of lift it will get.

Down right now, Rear top bag mounts needed redone and so did the notch but the guy want's it as is and knows of the condition of it. It actually bottoms out I think before frame hits the ground.

Full lift which is a disappointment to be honest. Wish we would of went ahead and started the bag on bar four link but oh well.
