Hey I've been on here for a while and had my truck for a while also, but just never started a project thread. I guess it's time. I have a 1990 B2200 extended cab. I bought it bone stock from an older guy who seemed to take pretty good care of it.

What it looked like when I bought it...

And a few days later I had it dropped 3" in front and 5" in back with Doetsch Tech Nitrogen Slammers all around. Bump stops removed, and middle two leafs in the rear removed. With the Doetsch Techs it doesn't bottom out in the rear on the frame at all. I also put a "bubble" hood on and a new front bumper. Took the rear bumper off too and one piece rear glass.

Got some Protege seats for a somewhat sportier feel. Put some Alpine SPS600's in the doors and the back, with an older Alpine head unit and an Alpine amp to power them. The rear jump seats are removed.

Then I got rid of the white paint and went with a "Celery" green.

And in a stroke of stupidity after I had HMROID for about 6 months, I was pressure washing the underside on the hood to get rid of the oil and grease. In my excitement of seeing a clean underside of my hood I forgot that there is a hole in the air cleaner top which would allow water to get into the carb... so I got in and turned the key and heard a clunk. It instantly hit me what went wrong and my heart sunk. I'm a dumb-ass. Luckily it was just the head and not the block. So I ordered a new head, Weber 32/36 carb and the Pacesetter header when I got back from Afganistan. With the help of my soon to be brother in law we got it going again.

Thanks B2000freak, but the "Celery" isn't staying. I got a different vision from when I started and in a few months hopefully I'll have a different color on.

Did a little system for it too. I made a board for the rear to screw the amps to and covered it with black fabric. I have a Kicker 10ZX350.4 to power the Alpine SPS600's and a Kicker 10ZX750.1 to power a Kicker 12" Solo-Baric L7 in a ported Kicker box. Future plans include one more ZX750.1 amp and one more 12" L7 in a custom fiberglass sealed box.

And today I came across something I couldn't pass up... a Nissan KA24E with trans, ECU and Wire harness. I'm picking it up this weekend and will have it installed and running by the following weekend (fingers crossed). It'll be nice to have almost twice the horsepower and torque while not adding alot of weight and keeping the fuel mileage. Plus I can add a turbo, bigger injectors and a re-mapped ECU and have up to 350 hp if I want to. I'll get pics of the install for y'all.

word man its looking good. i would check the drift truck build. he is also doing a ka24 swap. but i think his is only a ka24e. and id make sure the stock internals on the motor will handle that much power and boost. and make sure you get your ecu remapped for the bigger injectors AND a bigger MAF. id look into a n60 or n62 MAF. and usually you cant remapped the stock ecu. you can get something called a NISTUNE or pretuned ECUs.
